Barbara Mae Plummer, age 71, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on April 1, 2023. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 3, 1951 to the late Frank and Lyndall (McBride) Sweeney. Barbara joins in death her husband Daniel Plummer. She leaves behind her children Matthew Plummer, April Tenorio and Michelle (Kevin) Russell. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Ryan Schmidt, Morgan Plummer, Trevor Schmidt, Brooke Plummer and Cayden Cruz; siblings Connie (Sharon) Sweeney, Diane Sliemers and Judy Sweeney. Barbara was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Grove City, Ohio where she also donated many hours of her time to assist with charity work. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023 from 3PM to 6PM with funeral service being held at 6PM at Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 13, 2023 at 10AM at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St., Galloway, Ohio 43119. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, Ohio 43026 in Barbara’s name.
