Antonio S. Jayme IV.

Tony earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He came to the United States in 1974 in search of greener pastures. In 1976, he married his wife Ruby in the Philippines. A job promotion then brought them to New Jersey where they started a family. In 1985, a new job opportunity brought him and his family to Columbus, OH where he worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for many years at American Electric Power.

Tony had a passion for all fields of engineering and was big on continuing his education by reading and enrolling in classes. He had a strong fascination for American history. He enjoyed watching historical documentaries on TV and visiting historical locations, his favorite being our nation's capital, Washington D.C. Together with his wife, he greatly enjoyed gathering with their prayer group. He also enjoyed taking his children fishing, horseback riding and traveling to other states to visit relatives. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Andrew Church.

Tony is survived by his wife Ruby of 48 years; son Anthony (Beth) Jayme, daughter Melissa (Denny) Wright; grandchildren Ava, Josie and Ellie; brothers Adolfo and Jerome; sisters Melinda, Janet, Mabel and Emilia. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brothers, Dan and Ed; his sister Mary Ann.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220.
