Anthony Frank Campagna, 73, passed away on December 7, 2016 at his home of natural causes Anthony was born on February 1, 1943 in Buffalo, New York to Frank and Grace Campagna. He is survived by his two children, daughter Lisa (Chris) Daly, son James (Nikki Mulholland) and grandchildren Dominic, Gabriel, and Jacob. He was proceeded in death by his parents and wife Sharon. Anthony was a beloved Professor of Human Resources and Labor Relations at The Ohio State University for 25 years. After retiring from OSU he worked for some time consulting, sharing his practical expertise. Once fully retired, he enjoyed relaxing at home and spending time with his grandchildren. More recently Anthony became involved at the Linworth Baptist Church, helping lead bible study groups, participating in services and enjoying the fellowship of the church. Anthony had a way of making people smile and frequently had everyone around him laughing. He was involved from an early time with his children, helping coach sports and leading his daughters high school class on a trip down memory lane for the senior class party. He had his favorite sayings that you could be sure to hear at least a couple of times when you visited with him. As he would say “You gotta do what you gotta do” and that is what we will do.
Memorial Service calling hours will held on Tuesday December 13, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, OH 43221. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Linworth Baptist Church at 6200 Linworth Road, Columbus, OH 43085 in Anthony Campagna’s name.
