Alice M.C. Goodin

Mrs. Goodin was born in Newark, Ohio on December 25, 1918 to the late J. Franklin Baker and Zona (Danielson) Wilson. She passed away on Monday, October 04, 2010 at LPN Healthcare Facility.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Newark. She was also a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Newark. She graduated from Newark High School, where she played on the girls basketball team. Prior to retirement, she worked for BancOhio for over 30 years. She was an avid bowler, bowling in many leagues over the years. She was also a pianist and loved singing. Alice always smiled, was a giving person, she knew no strangers and loved everyone she met.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley (Larry) Holbert; son, Donald (Kathi) Goodin; eight grandchildren, Deborah (Roy), Sherri (Ronald), Michael, Patricia Ann, John, Diane, Susan and Scott; Twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.; and step brothers, Richard Wilson and J. Buford Baker;

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, John Goodin; and two grandchildren, Douglas Wright and Denise Wright-Guillot.
