Sharon Joyce Warren

Sharon Joyce Warren, 72, of Columbus died 9:17 p.m. Saturday at Columbus Regional Hospital. Sharon was born in Jackson County January 20, 1947, the daughter of Carl and Leona Wienhorst Wichman. She drove a school bus for Bartholomew Consolidated School System for 37 years. She loved to sew and was an avid quilter with her friends. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Skidmore of Columbus; sons, Gregory and Jason Warren both of Columbus; sister, Debbie Finkle of Columbus; grandchildren, Tristin Warren, Mackenzie Bowers and Samuel Skidmore all of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Wichman; brother-in-law, Larry Finkle; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Wichman. A memorial service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Don Stuart officiating. Visitation from 6:00 P.M. to service time. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial to the American Cancer Society. Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street is in charge of arrangements.
