Bobbie Lee Withers

Bobbie Lee Withers, 79, of Columbus, died at 4:40 a.m. in his home. Born in Russell County, Kentucky, on October 23, 1937, Bobbie was the son of Golden and Vera Eads Withers. He marries Margaret Ellen Cody in Jeffersonville, Indiana on April 6, 1957. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2016. Bobbie worked for Arvin Industries for 46 1/2 years in setup. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing. Bobbie is survived by his children; Darrel (Mary) Withers, and Robert Withers, all of Columbus, Teresa (Danny) Campbell, Little York and Judy (Terry) Conard, Seymour; grandchildren, Kristopher (Ann) Withers, Aundraea (Allie) Henderson, Heather (Jesse) Law, Peggy Campbell, Daniel (Lindsey Campbell), Jessica (Jordy) Barnes, Gunner Wilson, Deakon Wilson, Matthew Withers, and Megan (John) Roberts and 21 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, his brothers, Carthel and Samuel Withers and a great granddaughter, Abigail Barnes. The funeral service for Bobbie will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Rev. Dorse Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery.
