Anna Lee Hadley

Anna was born May 11, 1929 in Norman, Indiana to parents Levi and Nellie Lewis. She married James Lawles on August 4, 1945, and he preceded her in death. She later married James Hadley on December 13, 1993, and he preceded her in death as well.

Anna enjoyed cooking and canning, puzzles, and oil painting. She loved her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her children, James (Gail) Lawles Jr., Janice Spears, Nikia (Jason) Carlstrom, and Linda (Lonnie) Doty; her brother, Levi Lewis Jr.; step-children, Debbie Prince, Gary (Candi), Bryan (Sherri), and Ron Hadley; grandson, Cristifer Lawles, and several other grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lawles; her second husband, James Hadley; two sons, Jack Lawless, and Rick Lawles; grandson, Ricky Lawles Jr.; her brothers, Lynuel, Roger, Harold, and Donald Lewis, sisters, Rosalee Hadley and Mary Noblett; and son-in-law, Dale Spears.

A funeral service for Anna will be held Sunday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation two hours prior to the service, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
