Sharon Diane Shiver Motos

A visitation for family and friends of Sharon will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Following the visitation for family and friends, there will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Motos was born in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late Albert Preston and Wilma O. Powell Shiver. She was a 1972 graduate of Jordan Vocational High School. Mrs. Motos loved country and western music, line dancing and putting her feet in the sand at the beach. We will miss her presence daily, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, a brother, Jerry Jerome Shiver, a niece, Shannon Sanchez, and a nephew, Will Ellis, preceded Mrs. Motos in death.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Motos; her daughter, Misty Puffer and her husband Jamey; one sister in law, Carolyn Shiver: two grandchildren, Brooke and Kyle Puffer; two nephews, Scott Shiver and his wife, Christian, and Cody Shiver; four nieces, Kaleigh Ellis, Keisha Muse and her husband, Tyler, Nicki Hasty, and Londyn Harris; one sister in law, Carolyn Shiver.
