Every Easter Mom took pictures in front of the cherry tree in the neighbor's yard while the azaleas were in bloom.  Robert with my grandmother, Caroline Murphey.  May you enjoy each other's company on heaven's bright shore now that grandma's hearing and Robert's voice have been restored.  Miss you both.

Andres is now 16 and just made the Varsity Soccer Team at Northside High School,  He also made 2nd violin, 4th chair at the Allstate competition in Athens.  Know Grandpa Robert would have been proud of him for his accomplishments.

Robert's two sons, Michael and Robert Jr. who live in Texas, circa 2003.  Michael and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Chase and Christina.  Robert and Lisa have two children, Andee and Jase.

Bob was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Michelle Little (1982-2005). During their last visit together, Bob gave our son Steven a Lantana plant to take home with him. Since it was late summer at the time, and the plant had been growing in Georgia, it was in full bloom. We live in Virginia, where the weather is colder, and by October, the plant had lost all of its blooms and went dormant--until Bob passed away. During the 3rd week of November, the plant produced two beautiful blooms--only two--and a week or two later went dormant again. I took this event as a sign that Bob and Liz are together again. I wish peace and comfort to Bob's friends and family. He gave me an incredible son, and for that, I thank him.

I have no background info for this photo, and the quality of it isn't great, but my youngest son, Steven, (who is also Bob's youngest son) and I thought it captures a lot of Bob's personality. Bob fought a long and courageous battle against cancer--first diagnosed in 1984. He had the strongest will to live that I've ever seen, and I imagine that when he isn't bowling, he is dancing in Heaven.

Lots of history, many memories, many years of laughter, joy and tears.  My condolences to Ken, Janie, Dot,  Slade, Robert Jr., Michael, Chris, Steven, Brandon, Cindy, Lisa and families for your loss and thank you for allowing me and my family to be a part of your lives over the years.  We've shared graduations, weddings, christenings, birthdays, holidays, hospitalizations, school and sports events and sadly funerals of loved ones.  Each of you holds a special place  in my heart.  I am grateful to Robert for making amends before God called him home.  I admired his tenacity, despite his pain.  As the Los Lonely Boys(Liz's favorite group) sang, "How far is Heaven, Lord can  you tell me?  I've just got to know."  I look forward to the day I can "Waltz around Heaven all day"  with my former dance partner.  Soar with the eagles, Robert!  

I knew Robert from bowling leagues. He was a nice man and a joy to be around. My thoughts and prayers to his family. 

I was blessed to serve as Robert's pastor for nine years.  I will always be thankful for his positive attitude and cheerful spirit.  My fondest memories will always be of Robert "singing" passionately during worship services.  Though he had lost his voice, he nonetheless communicated a joy and faithful energy, mouthing the words and smiling from ear to ear.  In short, he put those of us with voices but not his passionate energy to shame!  One Sunday I will never forget him telling me he looked forward to the day when he would be able to sing again with Christ.  I have no doubt he is singing today, better than ever.  God bless.

I knew Robert from the putt putt golf course. I was 12 he was 14. He helped me learn to play. He was up with all the tips to make a hole in one. He began to work there when old enough. He also started bowling at Bowling Alley next door. He excelled at bowling also. He received many awards for his Bowling abilities 
Robert loved his family. He did everything he could to help his mom. he joined the Navy during the Vietnam war and was stationed at Mayport Florida. 

Robert was always kind and thoughtful to others. He will be missed. 

Robert was such a pleasure to be around. We enjoyed bowling with him both in Columbus and at out if town tournaments. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Robert was a good friend. Always willing to help when I needed him. We enjoyed bowling together in league and tournaments throughout the years and I will certainly remember those good times. Prayers for the family. 

Robert was a great friend and always happy and laughing.  He will be missed!!

Robert was a great man. Served his country during Vietnam War with pride and honor for our country!
Robert held these values until the good lord took him home.
I only knew Robert for about 4 or 5 years but he had a good since of humor and always had a cold PBR ready for me.
