Ricky Lane Adams, age 62, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. A graveside service for Ricky will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Ricky was born April 23, 1960, in Columbus, Georgia; the son of J.B. Adams and Ethelene Adams. Ricky graduated from Columbus High School. Ricky was a hardworking, humble, caring and giving person. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and grilling with many family and friends.
To know Ricky was to know that he not only talked the talk, but he walked the walk. His family and friends were extremely important to him he loved them dearly and cherished the time they spent together. Ricky had “one of those smiles,” that said so much without saying a word, his laughter was contagious, and he enjoyed picking and poking his friends and family, it was one of the ways he showed he cared about you.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, J.B. and Ethelene Adams; and the love of his life, Darlene Waltman.
Survivors include: his brother, Tony Schnoor; his sister, Diane Jernigan; and numerous family members and friends that will cherish his memory.
