Ray Anderson

He is preceded in death by his father, Earnest Anderson and his mother, Flossie Hodges; brothers and sisters: Merrill W. Taylor, OB Taylor, Mary Leonard, Richard White, Nellie Vullo, and Jeanette Staples. Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nadine Anderson; his children: Renee Moore (Dale) from Texas, his son Ray Davis from Alabama, Melinda Fuson (Dickie), Easter Frazer (Jeff), Romona Nelson (Joe) all from Cataula, Georgia; brother, Bill Gilbert (Audrey), Harry Gilbert, and his thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Ray was a business owner for 26 years before becoming a bus driver for the Muscogee County School District where he transported special needs children to and from school for 18 years. He was an Honorable Veteran in the US Navy becoming a lifetime member of the VFW Post 667. Ray loved dancing, singing karaoke, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as all the friends and family from Mama’s Bar. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
