Randy Jackson Hodge loved the Lord with all his heart, soul and strength. He loved his wife Gloria Bass Hodge as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her everyday. Randy was a beloved step-father to Vicki Goggins Neal (George), Tina Caton (Roy) and James G. Anderson, III. He was a very proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who will deeply miss their "Papa Roo". He is survived by his brother Robert Hodge (Betty), Vickie Hathaway and many nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his beloved mother Sybil Griffin and father Samuel Jackson Hodge.
Randy committed everything he did to the Lord, including 22 years at Cherokee Fabrication where he worked as a painter and welder. They were like a second family to him. He delighted in his job and was known for his hard work, punctuality and dependability, never complaining about any task given to him.
He loved to make people laugh and always tried to bring encouragement and joy to others. He was known to stop and pray on the spot for someone in need, or to hand out his last dollar. Randy didn't know a stranger and delighted in telling his personal testimony to others in hopes of pointing them to Jesus.

Randy is surely resting in the arms of his Savior who has received him saying, "well done, good and faithful servant... today you are with me in Paradise."
