Nicole Suzanne Gonzales, age 38 of Fortson, GA passed away following an illness on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Born April 19, 1984 in Fort Stewart, GA, she was the daughter of Wayne Michael and Susan E. (Smith) Gonzales.
She loved LSU football, Disney and all things 80’s. Her godson, Christopher, was her heart.
In addition to her loving parents and her loving godson, Nicole is survived by her loving sister, Natasha Gonzales; her loving grandmothers, Ruth Smith and Betty Gonzales; her loving step-grandmother, Joan Smith. Nicole was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving grandfathers, Rodney Gonzales and Donald Smith.
There will be a visitation with family and friends at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in Georgia, Louisiana, and New Jersey at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Nicole’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
