Nancy (Rice) Bloebaum, age 86, of Columbus, Georgia, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. A visitation for family and friends of Nancy will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 First Ave., Columbus, Georgia 31901, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
Nancy was born March 25, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee; the daughter of Fred Rice and Sarah Hayes Rice. Nancy married the love of her life Donald Bloebaum, they were married for 62 years. Nancy was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed tennis, traveling with her family and friends, and she was active with the Junior Leagues of Winter Park, FL., Jacksonville, FL., and Columbus, GA. When she was able, she was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, serving with the Altar Guild and a member in her Bible study class. She taught our family to always be positive and to stay true to your faith. She was a dear friend to all that knew her. She loved her family and cherished the family time they spent together.
Nancy is preceded in death by: her loving husband, Donald L. Bloebaum, granddaughter, Sarah Ann Bloebaum; and her parents, Fred and Sarah Rice.
Nancy is survived by: her sons, Mike (Kim), Steve (Angela); two granddaughters, Stacey, Anna; one grandson, Cameron; and her brother, Phil Rice.
