She was a loving wife to the late Gary W. Bishop, Sr., a devoted mother and grandmother who loved life and sharing it with her family. She was happiest with her grandchildren, they were her universe. Michele loved to laugh, spend time watching the Auburn Tigers and the Atlanta Braves with her husband and family. She was Christian by faith and attended Cascade Hills Church. She was a loving, caring, compassionate, and kind person who will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her children: Christopher Wade Rivers and his wife Jennylynn and Gary Wayne Bishop Jr. and his wife Jessica; her grandchildren: Hudson Bishop, Kye Bishop, Jadzia Rivers, and Zachary Rivers. Michele was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Bishop, Sr. and her parents, Nancy and George Rivers.
In celebration of her life a service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2022 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Parkhill Cemetery.
