Mary Killough, age 81, of Columbus, GA, passed away, May 23, 2020. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with a graveside service on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 11:00am in Parkhill Cemetery with J. Grantham officiating.
She was born in Dexter, Missouri on August 31, 1938 to the late A. Duane Edwards and Eathelo Lingo. Mary was married to Glenn Killough on January 25, 1958, spending many cherished years together. She was a devoted mother, wife and friend. Their marriage was an inspiration to family and friends. They would have date night every Thursday night until recently. Mary had a passion for gardening, pottery, travel, and church. She had a big heart and a lot of love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Killough had a strong faith in her Lord and was a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Killough; children, Leslie Killough Willingham, Mitch Killough, and Elizabeth Killough; grandchildren, Tara Barbee, Rob Willingham, Josh Willingham, Mitch Killough, Jr., Dee Danford, and Leigh Delrio; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Powers; and many nieces and nephews.
