Martha Young

Mrs. Young was born in Opelika, Alabama, a daughter of the late Marion Clarence Godwin and Alma Cordelia Hilyer Godwin, attended Nicholson Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Young is preceded by her sons, Donald Wyatt Young, Ronald Ray Young; sister, Marion Jeanette Godwin Ingram and her husband, Billy Ray Young.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Fox (Tom) of Hammond, Louisiana and son, Donnie Young (Kristi) of Commerce, Georgia and her sister, Kay Maddy (Bob) of Lima, Ohio; grandsons, Justin Young, Micah Young, Timon Young, Jon Young, Ronald Young and Paul Young, Charlotte, NC, Steven Ginn, Birmingham, AL, Dylan Young and Trevor Young, Commerce, GA; granddaughters, Olivia Morgan, Birmingham, AL, Amanda Barnes, Beaumont, TX, Rachel Sharpe, Statesville, NC, Lauren Young, Charlotte, NC, Lottie Young, Huntersville, NC and Mary Young, Commerce, GA; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current conditions surrounding us, there will not be an official memorial service.

Mrs. Young will be buried February 18th, 2021 at 10:00 in the morning at Park Hill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
