She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Alfred Eugene Rowe and loving son Kirk Daryl Rowe. Marilyn is survived by her brother, John (Jack) Gran and his wife Martha of Wichita, Kansas; her son, Bruce Rowe and wife Martha of Columbus, Ohio; daughter in law, Colleen McGhie Rowe of Enterprise, Utah; and grandchildren; Alan (Jennilee) Rowe of Columbus, Ohio; Daryl (Alaina) Rowe of Columbus, Georgia; Kristina Haskins of Columbus, Georgia; Elizabeth Rowe of Columbus, Ohio; Michael (Makarena) Rowe of Hazel Green, Alabama; James (Tesla) Rowe of Columbus, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Kirk Daryl (Trey) and Carolleena Rowe of Columbus, Georgia; JD, Connor and Theodore Haskins of Columbus, Georgia; Sophia and Sara Beth Rowe of Hazel Green, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was born on April 22, 1936 in Ashtabula, Ohio to John Reuben Gran and Charlotte Harmina Parks Gran. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to go to yard sales, bargains were her passion. She was well known in the community as the Sno-Hut lady. She had the most infectious smile and positive attitude. She touched many lives over the years and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A Visitation for friends and family will be one hour prior. Burial will follow services.
