Jeffery I. “Jeff” Hickman, 65, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on September 29, 2024. He was born on May 18, 1959 to Forrest I. Hickman and Sylvia Windham Hickman. Jeff was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. He was a really fun-loving guy who loved his family and friends. Jeff loved a great game of college football especially Auburn University, but he was known to “parlay other teams as well”. Everyone knew when Jeff was in the room, he was always the life of the party. He lived his life, and through his many stories, his life was the “Adventure”. His infectious spirit was loved by all who knew him.
He leaves his outrageous memory to be cherished by his loving mother, Sylvia Taylor; his sister Angela (Carl Tobin) Armstrong; his brother, Michael (Barbara) Hickman; his brother, Tommy Hickman; his brother, Mike (Linda) Scarborough; his many nieces and nephews; and a phenomenal host of friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Hickman; his sister, Sheryl Scarborough and his stepdad, Donald Taylor.
A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. His family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
