Jarrod Dane Collins

Jarrod was a business owner, member of the SCV, entertainer, follower of Christ, and most importantly a devoted father, son, brother, and family man. He was the most generous, hardworking, big-hearted man and never met a stranger. He was at his happiest when spending time with his family; singing, dancing, laughing, cooking, and dressing comfortably. Ain’t no mountain high enough!

Survivors include his partner, Niki Brown; his children, Annabelle Leigh Collins and Aiden Allen; his mother, Lorri Edwards; his step-father, Troy Edwards; his father, Donald Collins; his sisters, Lindsey Collins, Carley Edwards and Bailey Edwards; and his grandparents, Peggy Gaffe, Bill and Jean Edwards. Jarrod was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Deighton Gaffe; his paternal grandfather, Harold Collins and his paternal grandmother, Frances Collins.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 11:00AM. Pastor Adam Churchwell will be officiating. Family will visit with friends on Wednesday morning from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. Burial will be held at Buena Vista City Cemetery privately with his immediate family.
