Janice graduated from Baker High School in 1954 and worked as a finance specialist throughout most of her career. She retired from American General in 1999 after 24 years of service.
Janice was happiest when she had all her family around for any occasion. She really enjoyed her trips to the beach with her daughters and the opportunity it provided to visit with her cousins. She loved gardening and working in her yard for many years and anyone that knew her was aware that she was an avid Alabama football fan. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Curtis T. Enfinger and Adrian Hundley Roper, her siblings: Inez Frizzell, William T. Enfinger, Charlie F. Enfinger and Sandra Lombardi and her sons-in-law: Mike Titzler and Mitchell Thorpe.
She is survived by her children: Cindy Titzler (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL), Connie Friou and husband Jack (Panama City Beach, FL), Cathy Thorpe (Columbus, GA) and Cheri Lee and husband Mark (Kennesaw, GA). She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Abby Bruce Bryan, Justin Titzler, Carrie Friou Kiser (Matt), Catherine Friou Lyerly (Todd), Jonathan Thorpe, Jessica Thorpe Kidd (Landon), Shannon Lee Kooyman (Nick) and Paige Lee; and six great-grandchildren: Anna Pate, Emily Brewer, Jack Kiser, Jett Kiser, Addie Kidd and Livie Grace Kidd. Janice also has a great-great granddaughter due in November.
