Funeral services will be held 5:00PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. Minister Nathan Diller will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held Wednesday.
Jaimie was born in Columbus, GA October 4, 2002, daughter of Jerry and Catherine Welch. She graduated from Columbus High School and was currently attending Middle Georgia College. Jaimie was full of life. She enjoyed singing in the chorus, photography and everything there is about softball. Jaimie loved to travel. Some of her favorite places were Disney World, Scotland, Belize and the North Georgia Mountains. Jamie also loved riding four wheelers, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Catherine Welch; one brother, Alex Mehaffey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
