Sixty-six years a wife. Sixty-four years a mother. Too many times to count, a maker of meals, a listening ear, a mender of hearts, a chastening voice, a giver of wise counsel, a feisty presence, faithful friend, lover of family and disciple of her Lord Jesus ... Hilda B. Levi entered promised rest on November 18, 2018 at her home in Hamilton, Georgia. She left behind, but only for a season, husband AC, four children and in-laws, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a loving and gracious host of treasured friends.
A private burial will be held at the Levi family chapel in Hamilton, where Hilda's body will be laid to rest beside Gary's, her son.
A celebration of her life will be held at a candlelight service in the family chapel at a date and time yet to be determined. Notice will be given by social media and word of mouth.
The family wishes to thank friends and community for the many kindnesses shown Mom and us in recent weeks. Because of you, she and we can say with the Psalmist, "the boundary lines have fallen for (us) in pleasant places." We are forever grateful.
