TSGT (USAF Ret) Harry (Bo) C. Lambert, 79, of Box Springs, GA passed away Saturday March 11, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family.
A celebration of Harry’s life will be held in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA on Wednesday March 15, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by a service officiated by Rev. David L. Chapman at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Parkhill Cemetery with Military Honors.
Mr. Lambert was born in Huntington, W.VA. He retired from the US Air Force, Clayton Co. Computer Center, and Clayton Co. Board of Education.
He was a life time member of VFW post 665 and a member of the American Legion in Columbus, GA. He served as the Quarter Master for VFW post 6330 as well as Dist 6 and was a VFW State Inspector for Georgia.
His hobbies were building things, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.
Preceded in death by his Mother Mary Casey Lambert, Father Willie W. Lambert, and Sister Darlene Burns.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Peggy Lambert of Box Springs, GA, 4 Daughters Lesley Lambert of Box Springs, GA, Lynn Martin of Stockbridge, GA, Lee Roberts of Kathleen, GA, Lisa Davis of Holly Hill, FL., and 1 Son Kevin Lambert of Winchester, KY, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Rd, Columbus, GA. 31909 in lieu of flowers.
