Evelyn Lowe

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Wayne Baker officiating. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening, July 12, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Services in Albany, GA will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Lowe was born September 17, 1955 in Albany, GA daughter of the late Arthur Jones and Nettie Mae Dawson. She worked with the John B. Amos Cancer Center as a patient account representative. Mrs. Lowe attended Spirit Filled Ministries in Columbus, GA and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Albany, GA.

Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Lowe, Sr.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are three children, Tekica Dawson, Gregory Lowe, III, and Kenisha Lowe, all of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Marcus Dawson and his wife Jeanette of Albany, GA, and John Anderson and his wife, Ann of Atlanta, GA; one sister Marie Anderson of Albany, GA; two grandchildren, Kieza Dawson Crowell, and Mekhi Benton.
