A service to celebrate Pat’s Life will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 9, 2024 at First Baptist Church in the Porter Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A celebration of life will also be held from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the home of Haley Hall.
Pat was born August 3, 1950 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Elmer D. and Margie Perry Patterson. He graduated from the University of Georgia and served the Columbus community for many years as a pharmacist. Pat loved his animals, especially his dogs and was an avid fisherman. Pat was a lover of music and in his latter life became an artist focusing on painting dogs of friends and family. He also loved spending time with his family and creating lasting memories.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Amy Dillard Patterson; 2 daughters, Brooke Thompson and her husband, Will, and Haley Hall and her husband, Steve; three grandchildren, Savannah, Carolina, and Levi Thompson.
