Diana Petri Stallings, age 98 of Columbus, GA died on March 25, 2022. A Funeral Service for Diana will be held at 1:00 pm in Parkhill Cemetery in the Chapel of Pines Mausoleum; a Visitation will precede the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm, Rev. Jerry Sauls will conduct the services.
Diana was born on April 7, 1923 in Comune Di Codigoro, Italy; the daughter of Angela Fabri Petri and Archimede Petri.
Diana married John R. Stallings on October of 1948; they were married for 74 years and made Columbus, GA their home. She worked for the City of Columbus, she was known to be a valued employee, and retired. Diana was a sweet, kind, and dignified lady. She stayed connected with her friends in Italy and would visit once or twice a year. She kept an immaculate home and cherished the role of being a wife and was always waiting for the love of her life to come home. Diana was elegant, friendly, and warmly regarded by all that met and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband John R. Stallings.
