Phenix City, AL- Debbie Cannon, 54 of Phenix City, AL, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 15, 2014 at Midtown Medical in Columbus, GA. She was born July 4, 1960 in Columbus, GA to her father, the late Elton Boyett, and her mother Betty Chambers Boyett. Debbie graduated from Columbus High School and worked in property management. She had a passion for her children and grandchildren and loved life.

Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2014 6:00-8:00 PM in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler- Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. (Dr.) Ray Cummings officiating.

Along with her father, Debbie is preceded in death by her step father, George Weaver. She is survived by her mother, Betty Weaver of Columbus, GA; two daughters, Shae King of Cataula, GA and Micah Cannon of Phenix City, AL; and one son, Lease Cannon of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Destin Smith, Trent King, and Paisley King; three brothers, Rick (Nan)Boyett, Lamar (Dorenda)Weaver, and Buddy (Carol)Weaver, and one sister Sandra Bland.
