We only learned of this tragic loss of Courtney this afternoon.  So heartbreaking!  We served as MYF counselors at WYnnton UMC when Courtney was a teenager, and those shared adventures included trips to Deep Creek, rafting the Nantahala, etc.   She was always up for a good time as well as chances to grow in faith.  She stopped by to see me a few years ago at work, and we laughed and cried together.  May God comfort all of her family with happy memories and His peace.

My condolences to all of the family.  Courtney and I shared many good times together when we were young. She was a ball of energy and I adored her.  She was so loving, spirited, and also had such a frankness about her that is refreshing.
 I lost touch as we had our families but I am happy we reconnected a few years ago and caught up with our lives. She adored her children and it made me smile as she talked about them to me.  She always loved so deeply, but most of all her family.  I can't imagine the devastation her family feels losing her so young, but especially her son, daughter and her mother.  My thoughts are with all of you. She will definitely be missed, remembered and loved.

I have been best friends with Abby since we were in fourth grade. Courtney was like a second mom to me. I lost my mom when I was young and she always made me feel like one of her own, and made sure I knew how much she cared about me. My dad and my brother also knew her and they send their condolences as well. She was the type of person/friend where even if Abby wasn’t there, I could be hanging out at their house with her and it was just comfortable. My memories start with her from a young age. My dad also developed a friendship with Courtney over the years even if it was just to talk about their kids. Abby and I kept in touch over the years through moves and changing life events. Every time I came to visit, her, Abby and I would cluster in her room, and she'd sit on her green chair that she loved. We'd talk for a long time and catch up on life. I can almost picture the room exactly as it was the last time I was there a few years ago. She’s always text me throughout the years to check up, just to say “I had always loved you”, or to wish me happy birthday or merry Christmas, and I’m glad to still have the messages. She was one of those people you could just feel the warmth from. In later years I went to her about some stuff I was going through and she was there for me with support, love, and understanding. I can still hear her and Abby going back and forth saying “Krustttt” to eachother, those memories have made me both laugh and cry the past few days. My heart is with Abby and her family as they navigate this difficult process. I hope she knew how loved she was and how loved she made everyone around her feel. I'll always remember her as a significant person in my life and as an honorary family member. Her love and legacy will live on through her family and friends. We love you miss Courtney Bradshaw! <3 

Avery Parker Bradshaw is my best friend of the past 12 years, we have been through good times and bad, and in those times I can say that I was good friends with his mother Courtney. I always enjoyed talking and laughing at embarrassing stories she told of her son, that I would always remind him of at a later date just to let him know that I remembered. Avery and I are in a band and a couples times she even came out to show her support and see what it was all about, despite it being set in not the nicest of places. In my phone I have the texts she sent me from when my own grandfather passed and she was sending her condolences, to congratulating me on a birthday or graduating from college. This has shaken me to my core because I know what it's like to lose a parent, but not a loss so sudden. I feel Avery's pain for his loss of a person he may have disagreed with at times, but loved deeply nonetheless. She will forever be missed by all of us, but especially by him and his family. I cannot remember the last time I saw her but what I do remember is that she played a part in my life, no matter how small. We all love you Courtney, and we will miss you every moment. 

I am so sorry for your loss. Courtney welcomed my daughter with open arms when she moved to her Lakebottom apartment. I live out of town and Courtney was like a second mom for Clara. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Courtney was one-of-a-kind! 💔
