Carolyn Madeline Peterson

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Columbus Porter Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL at 1:30 pm according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.

Carolyn was born in Blakely, GA on August 17, 1939 to the late Ernest Edmond Reno and Jewel Madeline Granberry Reno. She was a member of the First Baptist of Columbus for many years and was employed with Dunkin Donuts. Carolyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Davis, and a brother Gene Reno.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil W. Peterson, Sr. of Phenix City, AL, children, Michael Davis, Bobby Davis, Lisa Steedley (Tommy), Waymon Cook and Jimmy Barwick, siblings, Virginia Hawk (David) of Leesburg, GA. and Wayne Reno (Amy) of Albany, GA.
