Carole Ann Zimmerman

Carole was born on December 1, 1940 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Charles and Cleta Hines. She graduated from Jordan High School. Following high school, she married the love of her life, Bruce “Brucey” Zimmerman on December 8, 1959, where they spent 57 years before his passing in 2017. Carole was a woman of all trades, she worked at the tag office in Columbus, as well as being a Para-pro for the Muscogee County school district. She was a nanny, and a dog mom. Carole was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, true crime and British shows. She loved reading books, animals and cars.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cleta Hines; and her loving husband, Bruce.

Those left to cherish her memories are her four children, Roger Zimmerman (Jan), Michael Zimmerman, Amy Brazier (Joel), and Katy Anderson (Lance); five grandchildren, Charlie Zimmerman (Brenda), Robbie Zimmerman (Sara), April Hilliard (Stephen), Michelle Zimmerman-Boudreau (Jason), and Jacob Baxter; seven great grandchildren, Carole Zimmerman, Chloe Zimmerman, Carlin Zimmerman, Eva Brazier, Roland Brazier, Hadley Hilliard and Jake Hilliard; one brother, Charles R. Hines.
