Caitlin Elizabeth Prescott

Caitlin Elizabeth Prescott, age 22, resident of Columbus, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016, 11:00 am, in the Porter Chapel of The First Baptist Church of Columbus, 212 12th St. Columbus, GA 31901, with Dr. James C. Elder Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at the church.

Ms. Prescott, daughter of Bill and Lisa Prescott, was born August 26, 1993 in Columbus, Georgia. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter, who will be missed by many. Caitlin never met a stranger and had a delightful, quirky sense of humor. She loved her family, friends, music, and was such a generous, accepting person.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, LTC William E. Prescott Jr. Caitlin is survived by her parents; sister, Sara Prescott; brother, Matthew Prescott; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Coker (Sue), Mrs. Frances A. Prescott; many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
