passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital, Savannah, GA, on Monday afternoon, August 30,
2021. She was born on Saturday, January 1, 1944 in Columbus, GA to the late Grant T. Stanley
and Nita R. McCall. Brenda was devoted to her family, loved her UGA bulldogs, years of
teaching and her church life.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Sandy” Crawford; fathers, P.F. McCall and
Grant Stanley; grandmother, Ella Mae Riley and Mother-in-law, Evelyn Crawford.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Cathleen “Tori” Cobb and husband Chuck of Bluffton,
SC; mother, Nita R. McCall of Delray Beach, FL; Sisters: Vicky Robertson (John) of Lynchburg,
VA, Cathy McClellan (Ronald) of Morristown, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd,
Columbus, GA 31907, at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2021.
