Mr. Wendell Brady Watson Sr.

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Wendell Brady “Buddy” Watson Sr., 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4:00 p.m. and 6 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, at the funeral home.

Mr. Watson died Sunday, June 13, 2021. Born in Bulger, Penn., he was a son of the late John Chester Watson Sr. and Frances Virginia Cain Watson. Buddy was owner of Champion Automotive for 20 years. He loved his family and his grandchildren. He enjoyed working on all models of cars and was an expert at diagnosing car issues.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Wilkinson Watson; children, Wendell Brady Watson Jr. (Roberta) of Pelion; Traci Lynn Rohrbach (John) of Coraopolis, Penn.; grandchildren, Chastity Nicole Wessinger (Josh), Brittney Elizabeth Bash (Michael), Bethany Golden Lindberg (Pat), Kyla Elizabeth Rohrbach, Mariah Rose Rohrbach; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Carilli of Miss., Jackie Weltner (Wayne) of Ohio; sister-in-law, Roberta Youngworth (Paul) of Coraopolis, Penn. He was predeceased by siblings, John Watson Jr., Leitha McIntyre, Virginia Spearing and Nancy Cairns.
