Thomas Mooney, age 71, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
A celebration of Thomas' life will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 with visitation from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm and service to follow at 5:30 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 48 years and all of his favorite children: son Travis and his wife Melanie, daughter Lina Ruth, daughter Pauline Bingaman-Mays and her husband Robert Mays, son Brock Thomas Bingaman, and daughter Jackie White and her husband Ryan.
Tom and Linda were the owners of Carolina Deli for over 30 years and his favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
Tom was a member of Shandon Baptist Church since 1985 and will always be remembered as a kind caring gentleman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
