COLUMBIA - Mr. Patrick Wade Damron died Saturday, February 11, 2023. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Wade and Joan Little Damron. He graduated from Spring Valley High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He loved Charleston and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. He was in the process of getting his Captain’s Certification before his passing. He was a mason and Shriner.
Surviving are his mother, Joan Damron; sisters, Gina Harrelson (Billy), Jeri McKee (Bill); nephew, Chase McKee; wife, Lori Damron. He was predeceased by his father, Wade Damron.
The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston for their compassionate and professional care.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
