Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of State Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Robin Crawford and Cindy Tyler (Don) both of West Columbia, SC; Sons, Clay Smith of Inman, SC and William E Smith III (Tracey) of Chapin, SC; She also had an honorary daughter, Marlene Gause. Mrs. Smith was also blessed with ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, William E Smith Jr.; Son in law, Gerald Crawford; Daughter in law, Teresa Smith; and grandson, Evan D Tyler.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 07, 2023 at 11:00 am at State Street Baptist Church, 1420 State Street, Cayce, SC 29033. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to State Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
