Linda was a native of Marrero, Louisiana for 42 years where she met her husband, G.K., in high school. While G.K. and her brother John worked diligently building and running a business, their son, Duane, was the focus of her boundless energy. Never one to sit idle, she had business ventures of her own (Mary Kay and a Travel Agency), but when Duane was out of school, they were on adventures together.
An opportunity to start a new business together brought Linda and G.K. to Fairhope, AL in 1997. For 22 years, she was the Vice President of Stone Interiors and an integral part of daily operations. During this time, they also spent much time at their condo in Columbia, SC visiting their two grandchildren, Mason, and Logan (and sometimes Duane and Heather too). Upon retirement, Linda and G.K. built a home in Blowing Rock NC, and she cherished the time they spent there and the new friendships they built.
Linda was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was a creative, fun-loving, and energetic grandmother, and we will cherish the memories of her time with Mason and Logan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed participating in book clubs. Through her wit and charm, she developed enduring friendships and truly cherished her cards, conversations, and visits from friends and family. Her faith was strong, and she was a member of the Basilica of Saint Peter Columbia SC and St. Elizabeth of the Hills in Boone, NC in addition to prayer groups.
She is predeceased by Mother Marie Dominique Blanda and Father Joseph L Blanda, Brother John L Blanda, and Nephew Scott Blanda.
Survived by her husband Gasper (G K) Naquin, son Duane Naquin, daughter in law Heather Naquin and grandsons Mason and Logan.
