Kathleen Ann White

COLUMBIA Kathleen Ann White, 79, of Columbia, died Sunday, June 26, 2022. Kathy was the daughter of the late Karney and Emma Barberian of San Francisco, CA. She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her son, Scott White and his wife, Alicia; grandchildren, Audrey and Thomas; and her brother, Ken Berian.

Kathy attended Capuchino High School, graduating in 1961, and the College of San Mateo and University of Hawai’i where she took classes in nursing. After her son was born, she moved to Santa Rosa, CA, where she raised him and was a member of First United Methodist Church for many years. In 2005, she moved to Columbia, S.C., to be near her son and his family. Here, she enjoyed her life-long hobbies of sewing and joined the quilting group at Shandon Presbyterian Church, helped to raise her grandchildren, and brought light into every room.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Shandon Presbyterian Church in Columbia, S.C.
