Jennie Rose Bryant Walters

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Jennie Rose Bryant Walters, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Walters passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. Born in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Charles Alton Bryant and Nellie Mae Cribb Bryant. She was retired from Haverty Furniture Company

Surviving are her children, Sara N. Brown of Murrells Inlet, Donna W. Hewson of Camden, Elaine W. Cheek of Lexington, Rebecca W. McPherson (David) of Hilton Head, Cindy W. Ross (Larry) of Gilbert, Linda Walters-Atkinson (Bobby) of Camden, Jerry S. Walters (Susan) of Gilbert, and David W. Walters of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jerry William Walters; daughter, Lisa K. Walters; and 8 brothers and sisters.
