James D. Spivey

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for James David Spivey, Sr., 44, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with entombment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Broom Hill Baptist Church, 1165 Boykin Road, Rembert, SC. 29128.

Mr. Spivey was born January 30, 1969 in Columbia, SC and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was the son of the late Rev. David and Miralyn Spivey. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed golfing.

Surviving are his wife, Angelia Spivey of Lexington; children, Ashley Spivey, Jim Spivey, Jr., Megan Russell and Justin Russell; sisters, Angie Shaw (David), Rene’ Wilson (Tommy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
