Eleanor Trotter

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Eleanor Trotter, 81, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Memorials may be made to Crescent Hill Baptist Church, 2659 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29204.

Mrs. Trotter was born May 30, 1929 in Saluda County, SC and passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Clark Goodman and Essie Perry Goodman. Mrs. Trotter was a life- long seamstress. She was a member of the Eastern Star (Dentsville) and the Orene Petree Sunday school class at Crescent Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Trotter is survived by her daughter, Patti Langston (Mike) of Lexington; beloved grandson, Zachary Langston of Lexington and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Pinckney Trotter.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Oakleaf Village of Lexington, National Healthcare of Lexington, Tri County Hospice, and her caregivers, Charmika McDaniels, Rhonda Simpkins, Beverly Turner, Danna Porter, Eula Riley, Lisa Kearse, Betty Jeffcoat and Darnessa Odom.
