Dorothy Anne Watson

Mrs. Watson died Sunday, September 20, 2020. Born in Sterling IL, she was the daughter of the late Harry John and Orvilla Jones Watt. Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife and proud mother of seven children and cherished holiday gatherings. Married to her deceased husband, George Ralph Watson, for 66 years, she was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and loved her bingo.

Surviving her are five sons, Terry Watson (Mary Anne) of St Petersburg, FL, Doug Watson (Lana) of Seymour, TN, Bob Watson (Candi) of Columbia, SC, Charles Watson (Lydia) of Surfside Beach, SC, Mike Watson (Bryan) of Columbia, SC; and, one daughter Patty Gordon (Bill) of Orlando, FL; and, 13 grandchildren Sherrie (Tom), Kim (Keith), Travis (Susan), Jacey (Will), Madeleine, Meredith, Alex, Kody (Hannah), Kendall, Logan, Shane, Trey (Ally), and Whitney; and, 8 great-grandchildren McKinley, Maggie, Mason, Matthew, James, Kaleb, Lily, and Liam.

She was predeceased by her husband, George R. Watson; a son, Roger Watson (Lorrie); a brother, Gene Watt (Bernice); and, a sister, Marilyn (Dick).

She was loved tremendously and will remain in our hearts forever.
