A private family graveside service for Dorothy Helen Sills Shealy, 92, will be held January 24, 2024 at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta, GA. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel in Columbia, SC is in charge.
Mrs. Shealy, widow of Ollie Lindell Shealy, died January 17, 2024. Born in Aiken, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alva T. Sills, Jr. and Reba Brown Sills. She was also preceded in death by her brother Alva Sills.
Mrs. Shealy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters: Deborah Ann Shealy of Columbia, SC; Geri Lee Shealy Hamrick and son-in-law John M. Hamrick, Jr. of Gaffney, SC; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Hamrick of Nashville, TN; John M. Hamrick, III (Iris Moon) of Denver, CO; and Waite C. Hamrick, III (Amanda Martucci) of Charlotte, NC.
