In 1983, joined the University of South Carolina until he retired in 2008. After retiring, Christopher consulted for Saudi Aramco.
Christopher was one of the kindest people I know. He was outgoing, loved meeting new people and exchanging stories with them. He was a loving father. He loved animals, often taking pictures of the ones he met on trips to share with his family. He enjoyed teaching, instilling a love of learning in both his children and was supportive and mentor to his students even after they graduated.
Christopher was a voracious reader. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to your local library.
We would like to thank the wonderful doctors (Dr. Postic and Dr. Monk) and the staff on 4 step-down and 6 floor for their compassionate care.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, October 18 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
