She left us peacefully at her residence in Columbia, SC. She was in her 93rd year.
Betty was born November 11, 1925. in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Harry and Irene McAtee. She was the beloved mother of Cynthia (Cindy) Witherspoon, Dianne Pratt, Jennifer Fountain, and Stephen A Atkinson and a proud grandmother of Sims, Chip (Witherspoon); Michelle, Destyn (Wise), Drew (Pratt); Lisa, Stephen, Christopher (Fountain); Tristan (Atkinson) and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 32 years, Brady Carter Williamson, sisters; Helen, Lois, brothers; Bob, Howard and grandson Tristan Atkinson.
She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Parkersburg and was active in the choir. She enjoyed her bridge club, sorority, and ball room dance activities.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
