COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Beatrice May Elvin Johnson, 92, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mrs. Johnson died Saturday, December 4, 2021. Born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, she was a daughter of the late Charles John and Lily Daisy Cooper Elvin.
Surviving are her sons, Alan R. Johnson (Nancy) of Lexington, and Mark V. Johnson (Cynthia) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Whitney Calhoun (Neil), Brittany Baker (Aric), and Corey Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Deagan Baker, Eli Calhoun, and Emery Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband, Real Victor Johnson and several brothers and a sister.
