ELGIN - A graveside service for Anthony "Tony" Quinton Reid, 52, will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, with military and Masonic rites. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel.
Mr. Reid died Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Edna F. Quinton Reid Aylard and the late Paul M. Reid. A graduate of Richland Northeast High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force prior to working as a telecommunications engineer. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Lugoff Masonic Lodge 411. He loved camping, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Kimberly Lynn Reid; sons, Paul and John Reid, both of Lugoff; sisters, Wendy Mooneyhan (Gary) of Blythewood, Melissa Warlick (Scott) of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
