LEXINGTON - Memorial service for Anthony Robert “Tony” Martella, 36, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Tony passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. Born in West Columbia, he was the son of the late Edgar Robert and Carole Ann Zamperini Martella. Tony enjoyed the opportunity to serve his country in the U.S. Navy, traveling the world while on duty. His family and friends have many fond memories of Tony and his love of fishing and boating on Lake Murray with his son, Jacob. Surviving are his sister, Alexis Lovell of Irmo; son, Jacob Martella; nephew, Troy Lovell; nieces, Lindy Lovell, Cheynne Wright, Courtney Wright; aunt, Marsha Zamperini of Annandale, VA; uncle, Howard Knoll of Lower Burrell, PA; cousins, Stacey Ball, Kim Knoll, both of Lower Burrell, PA, Matt and Jeff Tiede of Dulles, VA, Kaylin Martella and D.J.
