Thinking of Andrew today and sending Mary Beth and all of Andrew’s family our sincerest wishes for peace and comfort in knowing Andrew is watching over each of you. 

My heartfelt condolences go out to Andrew’s family, friends, and especially to his love,  Mary Beth. 

I consider myself one of his friends. We worked years together at Casual Living. When I learned of his untimely passing, many memories came flooding back. 

He was extremely knowledgeable on too many topics to mention! He always knew how to fix anything and often wanted to explain to me how he fixed them. It was usually way over my head! I considered him quite a genius in many ways. 

He was funny, and we laughed lots! His  love of music, cars, cooking, guitars, guns and computers kept him always with knowledge to share! He may have seemed quiet to some, but he often talked my ear off! Those memories will always bring a smile to my face when I think of Andrew. 

Rest In Peace Andrew and enjoy your passions in heaven!




Andrew worked with us at Casual Living for many years. We first met him through Mary Beth, his life partner and one of our sales associates. One could quickly assess that Andrew was quiet and shy around those he did not know as easily as one could see that he was brilliant. I believe he had a photographic memory--or at least it seemed that way to me! Interested in many things, Andrew always amazed me with the knowledge he had on many and varied subjects. At the store, his imprint is everywhere and there is no chance that we could ever forget Andrew and all the ways he made our lives at Casual Living richer. Gentle and loving of nature, Andrew would rescue any creature found in the store  and release it back to the wild--even the spiders I threatened with my foot. When it was time to control weeds outside, Andrew drew the line at spraying the wild flowers that popped up among them. 
Rest in peace, dear Andrew. It is your time to soar like a bird in a clear blue sky, watching the wildflowers below reach for the sun, and all of God's little creatures comforted by your gentle love for them.

My most heartfelt condolences to Andrews family, friends and his dearest friend, Mary Beth.  I was blessed to know Andrew over the past several years as we worked together at Casual Living.  He was more than brilliant, a kind and soft spoken friend and will be deeply missed by so many. I couldn't believe the news when I was told that Andrew had passed.  He will be missed more than words can express.  

I remember the first time i met Andrew, he had contacted me on a internet forum for camaro's and firebirds, and we had decided to meet up at the Target parking lot at Harbison one Saturday evening.  It was instant friendship, we had so much in common with the love of F-body cars, we never ran out of things to talk about.  As the years passed our friendship grew, as did our mutual hobbies (which stretched far from just Camaro's and Firebirds.) We'd go to baseball games together, we went to concerts together, and we would build and shoot firearms together as well. 

Andrew was a brilliant man, he probably forgot more than I'll ever know in my lifetime, which is why I valued conversation with him so much.  It seemed that there was nothing that he didn't know something about.  He kept me on my toes because of this, and made me aspire to be a more well read individual.  For all of his quirky social awkwardness, when you made a friend out of Andrew you made a friend for life.  Not only was he super intelligent but he was also a fiercely loyal friend.  

I will miss you my friend, from our super bowl parties, with your George Washington's Artillery Punch, to the 3-4 page email correspondence we'd write to each other.    You've left a hole in the hearts of those that knew you, that will never be filled.  We love you Andrew, we'll see you again one day. Godspeed.
